Tim founded Foresight in 1997 and has over 25 years’ experience advising on and creating sophisticated financial planning solutions and strategies for clients in a clear manner that seeks to de-mystify the financial world.
Tim holds specialist qualifications in;
- Pensions
- Investment portfolio management
- Long-term care planning
- Tax planning
Tim advises on complex areas of Inheritance Tax and pension’s legislation, including Occupational Pension Scheme transfers, Pensions and Divorce and has acted as an Expert Witness in relation to pension matters. Away from his desk, you will either find Tim in his garden, honing his culinary skills or engaged in various strategy games.

Steve joined Foresight in 2009 and works alongside Tim writing reports and conducting research. Having worked in the financial industry for over 27 years including national firms, Steve joined the team at Foresight to develop the strength of our research, due diligence and reporting, which are recognised as key strengths of our service.

Cathy Kingston
Personal Finance Assistant
Cathy worked at the Portman Building Society for 25 years before joining Mary Dunn & Associates Ltd as Office Manager in 2004. Cathy’s role as Office Manager was vital in the smooth running of the office, customer services and support systems. In 2012 Foresight acquired Mary Dunn & Associates, and Cathy joined the team as Customer Services Manager providing support and experience on all matters concerning client service and administration. Cathy now supports Tim and his clients, helping to maintain our high service standards.
