Foresight Financial Planning was formed in 1997 by Managing Director Tim Bishop with the simple premise of ‘put the client first and business will take care of itself’. Ten years later the business remains committed to the same core principle, embodying the ‘Treating Customers Fairly’ initiative by our regulator The Financial Services Authority.

The business has enjoyed continued growth and now occupies premises in Dix’s Field in the heart of Exeter’s business community and although the majority of our clients remain local, through the benefit of modern communication technology, our clients live as far a field as Australia.

Outsourcing our compliance services to LighthouseXpress Limited allows us to benefit from the support of a large corporate network for research and up to date regulatory procedures and enables us to focus on a creative approach to advice and financial planning and the a high level of personal service to all our clients.

Tim is assisted by three other like-minded and experienced advisers and backed-up by a highly capable team of administrative staff using leading software to deliver a professional and reliable service.

Tim Bishop has been involved in financial services for twenty-years and is one of a small number of advisers that hold the Advanced Planning Certificate having specialist qualifications in Tax & Trust Planning, Pensions (including Pension Transfers), Investments, and advising elderly clients with specialist qualifications in Long-Term Care Planning and Equity Release arrangements.

Alan Meaton is the Senior Mortgage Consultant and has over twenty years experience in financial services having all relevant qualifications and expertise to advise on a wide range of mortgage and house purchase related requirements.
